Islam!!

Hello friends,

This is topic i want to speak on for a lot of times.Some of my best friends are muslim and i have made some friends across the border so i do have broader understanding of the relegion.One thing which i am sure about is that their is no concept of secularism in Islam.The holy Qur'an has many texts demonising infidels(Kafirs) and justifying violence against them.And for those who believe that word kafir does not necessary means non muslims are wrong because any one who does not follow sharia or has a different non sharia law is a Kufrul-Istibdaal(a non believer).So any hindu,sikh or christian is kafir for sure.Thus Islam does not preaches acceptance of other faiths..You look at blog from anyone from a muslim country,you will hardly find a secular voice.Most liberal muslims actually belong to non muslim countries.Take an example of India.In whole of India all the muslims raise the flag of secularism, but in one state where they are in majority(Kashmir) they are asking for a seperate land on basis of religion.This actually shows that muslims hail secularism out of compulsion rather then belief.

Another fact is associated with history of Islam.Most of henious acts of agression and invasion by muslim tyrants like ghauri,ghazni and amir timur. They justified it as jihad and destroyed various relegious shrines of other religions.Even though I understand Islam never approves such action but the fact that these men are cherished by muslim world make us perceive that Islam approves such action agaist other relegion.

Another issue with islam is its treatment of women.In most countries which follow they have not been given basic human rights. The marriage laws are totally in favour of man and society is fully marred with domestic violence.

Whatever I said that does not mean that Islam is worst relegion.Infact most relegion has its flaws.The problem is that most of the muslims follow their relegion very seriously which was made in the medievel period and can not be applied in modern world.Imagine if we I had to follow every concept of hinduism I would be sinning every day of my life and would be killed hundred times for being adharmi.If we follow old testament of bible word by word then i have right to kill any man/woman who does not go to church on sundays.

What we must undestand is that no relegion is bad, but most of them are naive.So we must not be naive enough to follow them word for word.

Why I want mayavati phenomenon to end?

Hello friends,As the blog suggest I am an ordinary indian whose feet is on ground but eyes are on air;who trascends religious,caste,regional,class barriers.So i donot represent any particular set of people.My worry is about India as a whole.This is the reason that I want mayavati phenomenon to end.India is not just a country bot a unique idea.The idea that peple speaking different languages,following diffenent relegions and pursuing different cultures.Such great is idea of India that when yuvraj singh hits six sixes every tamil and kannada is as happy at his achievement as punjabi.North indians were equally proud of vishwanath anand when he became world champion in chess.Its a graet achievement that in a country of 80 crore hindus muslims are ruling the film  industry.What this shows is the fact that even though we have great disparity and conflicts every indian has tendency to unite and coexist.This tendency changes when some people  try to divde society on the basis of identity weather it is BJP,Raj Thackrey or Mayavati.The biggest problem of mayavati is that she canot see anything beyond castes.If tommorow it is found that she was actually born to bramhin and adopted by dalit family;I am sure she will lose all his votes.She creates environment where she wants people of low castes to fear.Her approach towards India is non existent but she wants to be prime minister.If Indian people can accept a sikh as a prime minister they can surely accept a dalit.The question is of ability and inclusiveness.Mayavati is a terrible administrator as under her rule UP has gone to gutters and the way she has demonized upper castes it looks that she will never get support of them in future.You can never compare him to obama or maritn luther king as their appeal transcended all barrirs of society.But you can compare him to malcom x who showed that dividing peple will never bring harmony and development.Here i would like to say that Nitish kumar is an obc but I would gladly accept him as my leader because he is not representing any particular community.Mayavati is threat to my idea of india and symbolises the biggest evil of our system.
